Formula
Age = (Years, Months, Days) between date of birth and the chosen date
Years and months are counted on the calendar. When the day of the month is not yet reached, a month is 'borrowed' and the days of the previous month are added.

Born 15 Jan 2000, age on 1 Oct 2026
Age: 26 years, 8 months and 16 days (on 1 October 2026)
Born 29 Feb 2004, age on 28 Feb 2026
Age: 21 years, 11 months and 30 days (on 28 February 2026)
Important information
- Government jobs in Pakistan often state an upper age limit 'as on' the closing date of the advertisement — enter that date in 'Age on date'.
- People born on 29 February are treated as having their birthday on 1 March in non-leap years.
