About this calculator

Tax slabs are stored as configuration and can be updated after each federal budget. Always confirm with FBR or your employer's payroll for official figures.

Formula

Annual taxable income = (Monthly salary − exempt allowances) × 12

Tax = Fixed amount of slab + Rate × (Income − slab start)

Take-home = Salary − Monthly tax − Other deductions

Pakistan uses progressive slabs: each slab has a fixed tax plus a percentage of income above the slab's lower limit. A surcharge applies to very high incomes.
