Days = End date − Start date
Inclusive count = Days + 1
Choose 'include both dates' when counting things like leave days, where both the first and last day count.

Important information
- Weekdays count Monday to Friday and do not exclude public holidays such as Eid, 14 August or 25 December.
- Leap years are handled automatically.
Frequently asked questions
How do I count days between two dates?
Subtract the earlier date from the later one. 1 Jan to 2 Jan is 1 day; include both dates and it is 2.
Does it count weekends?
The main result counts all days. The 'Weekdays' line shows Monday–Friday only.
What if I enter the dates backwards?
The calculator swaps them automatically and tells you.
How many days are left until a date?
Set the start date to today and the end date to your deadline, exam or event. The result is the number of days left.
